The next stop on Andrew's journey down the folk horror rabbit hole brings us to the cornfields the fictional town Gatlin, Nebraska. The children have killed off all the adults, and worship a mystical figure in the corn fields. On Halloween day, 1983 Vicky, a Pre-Terminator Linda Hamilton and her and her boyfriend Burt have the misfortune of stumbling across the town.
